Moroccan argan oil is a natural oil extracted from the kernels of the argan tree (Argania spinosa), which grows almost exclusively in Morocco. The argan tree, often called the “tree of life,” is found in the arid regions of southwestern Morocco, particularly around Essaouira and Agadir. Argan oil is produced through a labor-intensive process where kernels are manually cracked to access the oil-rich seeds inside.
