☕ How to Prepare Moroccan Tea
Boil Water: Heat about 500 ml (2 cups) of fresh water until it starts to boil.
Add Tea Leaves: Place 1–2 teaspoons of Moroccan green tea (or 1 tea bag) into a teapot.
Rinse the Tea: Pour a small amount of boiling water over the tea, swirl for a few seconds, then discard the water to remove bitterness.
Brew: Add fresh boiling water to the teapot and let the tea steep for 3–5 minutes.
Add Mint & Sugar: Add a generous handful of fresh mint leaves and 2–3 teaspoons of sugar (adjust to taste).
Mix Well: Pour the tea into a glass, then back into the teapot several times to blend flavors and create a light foam on top.
💡 Serving Tip: Serve hot in small Moroccan glasses. Best enjoyed after meals or when welcoming guests. For a summer version, let it cool and serve over ice with extra mint leaves.
